I bought ahead sticks 3 wks ago and i love em they are sooo much better than wood sticks i play metal and i have a habit of not hittinghard enough so i played with ahead and turns out i get the sound of playing loud without trying.(only negative is theyre heavy so i recomend getting 5a instead of lars becuz if u get grip the signiture is goin 2 get covered.)

i've been a fan of lars and metallica for a number of years now, and my band plays a lot of tallica's music, so i wanted to play like lars, so i bought these sticks, and i gotta tell you they are the best, i used to have to buy wooden sticks every month, and these are great for any kind of music, rock out like lars oh yea

I went to a local music store and bought them.They were a little more then what i wanted to pay but it was worth every cent!I was never a big fan of lars ulrich but I said why not.these sticks are the best ever.the only problam is that the stick has gotten a few marks on it,and i got them today i thought they would never get them.

You may think it is expensive but it pays in the long run. Im fortunate to have got them 4 free with my tama drum set. (From family member) I didnt know at the time they would be soo good. I've had them 4 about 3 years and never broke ( Im a somewhat of a hard hitter) i tryed some wooden sticks but broke em in a few days they were like 7 doller par of sticks. or spend 3 dollers on ahead replacement sleeves and around 3 dollers for the tips ( Which u get like 3 pair) depending on how hard u hit the more/less u need to replace. with all that aside the ahead drum sticks are the best on the market. Im never going back to wooden again.

Wow, i finally got my lars ulrich sticks and I couldn't be happier. I was concerned that the sticks would be too heavy due to the dimensions but they are light, just a little bit of weight on the handle which gives it an amazing feel.I've read people saying how they are too heavy and that you cant roll fast, it's not true , those persons probably haven't developed their wrist muscles and so find it too much effort to roll. Besides people have different ideas of what "fast" is. I've played slipknot and divine heresy songs which these sticks with no problem. PLus the anti vibs really works lol, I could actually feel the difference. Funny thing, when i played with em on a drum set, they feel lighter than when practicing somewhere else. And they also have this sweet rebound, i was surprised since my smaller wood sticks didn't even respond as well. So if you like a little bit of weight to your sticks, get em, they really have this incredible balanced feel. I really hope this has been helpful to anyone considering buying a pair of sticks esp ahead's. (KEEP THE ROCK ALIVE PLEASE!!!! )
