If you get past the weird unbalanced feeling they might be fine to you, although I prefer a normal stick instead. I suppose if you have a problem breaking sticks often you could get these. I would advise to not play without the sleeves as you are not supposed to and can damage your instruments if you do so.

ive had the SAME sticks for 9 months, and i hit pretty hard, i mean i play metal so yeah. just great, and look cool... thats what its all about

i got these a few months ago and i like em. but they just dont make the drums sound as they do with wood. also one of them BROKE IN HALF. the whole thing just snapped metal and all.

This is absolutely the best stick on the planet hands down -- the craftsmanship and the weight, the balance and the taper....everything about this stick is unbelievable amazing especially the playability -- I've been able to play for 2-3 hrs longer than I've ever been able to play with wood sticks - no joke, and I've been playing in a professional band as a professional recording artist for 10+ years. The only thing that is keeping me from giving it 5's across the board.... is the hand grip. Everything about the stick is fine except the hand grip portion of the shaft needs to be extended about another 1/4-1-2" up the stick towards the tip as sometimes when you play as hard as I do (hard enough to go through three remo® clear powerstroke 4™ snare heads in a single 8hr recording session) the stick tends to slip out of your hand even with grip tape and finger tape (the slightly extra weight takes a lil getting used to). Also, the butt of the stick is perfect except for one flaw... after prolonged use the white rounded butt starts to flex, wearing down the glue that bonds the white butt to the actual end of the stick and when it comes completely undone, this "white mystery powder" comes spewing out and blows all over the place (on your practice rug, in your face as your fan blows at you during a live performance, etc). Trust me, fix that problem and this will be the company that I do not denounce and hopefully they'll endorse. hehe. -- TC model, not the TS - TS a little bit too small for my taste, I like the 17"+ sticks. WOW!!! What great sticks these are. I got a pair of these bad boys and played my first show with them and won't use anything different. They are bigger and heavier sticks, but they handle well and are very comfortable. Buy these sticks. Not being dissapointed GARANTEED
