This pack contains a Force I clear batter head, a Force II resonant head (either black or white), a single-kick pad, and a black Port Hole.

The Force I is a clear, single-ply, medium-weight bass drumhead. The Full Force drumhead features an acoustically "vented" muffling ring that is tucked into the hoop on the underneath side of the head. The muffling ring has special "tone holes" that allow the ring to move and resonate with the head. This head has a powerful attack with outstanding projection. A free kick pad is included.

The Force II resonant bass drumheads come in video gloss colors that feature the same "vented" muffling ring as the Force I heads. A free Port Hole is included. This gives the drummer the option of placing the hole where desired.

I'm a live sound engineer and drummer. Ive used just about every drum and drumhead at some point. I like this set of heads on my maple gms 22x18 kick. sounds nice and open without to much ring. I put a rolled up bar towel aginst the head lighty to dampen it a little more. I'm sure these are not magic heads that will make a crappy kick sound great. But on a good kick these work great. Why choke a great drum?
