I had the SKII batter head on my kick with the stock Pearl resonant head. I needed a ported head so I could mic my kick so I got the Regulator because all th rest of the heads on my kit are Aquarian and I like the quality. I put this head on and my 22" Pearl export Kick sounded like a cannon. I would recommend this head to anyone. It has a clear controled sound and I am very happy.

I have an entry level pearl set. I already had the powerstroke 2 on the beater side which sound amazing. I installed this skin on the resonant side and my bass drum sounds perfect. The tone now is big and fat, fills a room and kicks you in the face. I love it

I've finally found a reso head I like! Great sound, very durable, paired with the Superkick II as a batter, makes my el-cheapo bass drum sound like a much higher quality instrument. Tunes easily and no muffling required either. I'm totally sold on Aquarian heads!

Its not like me go ga-ga over a head, but I feel like I must tell the world how amazing this head is. It made my bass drum sound PERFECT! Aquarian makes the best quality heads in the market today and if I could say more about their products, I would.

I have several drum kits, and have been playing for several years. I put a regulator on my lower end kits, as well as my high end DW kits. Sounds great on all of them. You don't know how great your kick can sound until you put this head on it. I suggest a powerstroke along with this head, or a superkick. either one will make your drum sound brand new!
