bought these drivers as backups for our monitors. i highly recommend these for that purpose. we deal with many near deaf clients and they all rave how well they can hear the monitors. they respond well to e.q. and can really handle some serious power. get yourself some, great price. i would not use them for FOH but when,bi-amped they really do the job on monitors.

Good compression driver HOWEVER! Musicians Friend needs to get their description correct. It confused me when I bought it because the description said "mounts on with screws"..... "screw on". This is a COMP-4CLS-> It SCREWS onto the horn A COMP-4CLB-> BOLTS onto a horn

Make sure before you buy that you require a horn that needs to be threaded onto the horn and not bolted on.
