For thin arch top solid body guitars, the B 7 Bigsby bridge is for manually creating a true vibrato. The only true vibrato is to change the tone above and below the normal pitch.

Bigsby continues to manufacture vintage-style guitar parts including vibratos and bridges using the same handmade methods prescribed by founder Paul Bigsby half a century ago. Six hand assembled vibrato models are available with the Bigsby name. The tailpieces continue to be used as original equipment on guitars by many major manufacturers.

absolutly amazing piece to add to any guitar

adds great sustain and somehow manages to add more tone to a les paul. I have it on a goldtop and its looks buetiful. stays in tune, adds that awesome subtle bend.

a great product, and a great enhancement on any guitar. its very easy to install and it adds a great amount of sustain. there's not to much range in the change of pitch, so if your looking for a whammy bar, this isn't for you, this is a VIBRATO tailpiece. it even stays in tune great. i would definately recomend the B7... and plus, it looks great

I bought this a few months ago. I had this Bigsby fixed onto to my les paul in under half an hour. Now I've got alot more sustain and some vibrato at my disposal. The price was pretty fair but it could be a little less. The only problem is that after really pouring on the vibrato the guitar can fall a little out of tune but nothing serious, because I plan on instaling locking tuners next. I also wish it could dive bomb like a floyd but you can't have everything. Solid buy and it looks real nice

I had heard from others who had installed a Bigsby on a hardtail LP that the tone actually improved. Hard to believe since the Gibson's tone is already so good. I did the mod myself & am blown away at how much deeper & stronger my tone & sustain have improved. I used the stock Tune-O-Matic as it works like a rocker bridge, no need for a roller. One last point, my guitar stays in tune every bit as well as it did before I added the Bigsby.
