Sticky, tacky, why bother?

A wet rag didn't do it for me, I eventually found that Goo-gone did the trick and rendered the cables only lightly tacky, from their original intolerably sticky state. So while other cables slide in bundles and generally avoid tangles, the Blue binds and jams. Come on, it's a cable, there isn't that much to get right for basic use. Sure, now that I've spent time cleaning it, it is only a little less convenient than an ordinary cable, but why bother?

This is some good stuff, after comparing it side by side it sounds every bit as good as my Mogambi. They have actually put better ends on this cable now, and it looks good to. For the money you can't go wrong.

Are these Mogami cables? No. Can you tell a difference? No. If I had a serious recording session to do, I would probably go for these cables over my Mogami cables. One I can't tell the difference in sound, and two, they look cool. But like one reviewer said, they should not be taken on the road. I've read some complaints that they are sticky. One of my cables had this when I got it. It's simply a by product of the manufacturing process. It cleans off in two minutes with a wet rag.

This is the cleanest signal you will ever hear from any cable in the studio. It's definitely not for live shows, as it's a bit fragile and not very flexible. It probably wouldn't withstand being stomped on a lot or having cabs set on it. But as long as you're nice to it, you will be shocked at the difference in sound made by the cable alone.
