The former PSA adapter was better - while this works ok for wall outlets the design in some power strips blocks other outlets. The cable is junk and wires become exposed very quickly - the old one was much more durable in this regard.

just as I was kicking into my solo, this cable, which was powering my Boss me-70 pedal, crapped out and left me with non sound. after that it started refusing to work at all and then died all together. this was a terrible adapter.

The PSA-120S is cheaply made. I am using it with the Boss TU-12 tuner. The power supply puts out some electrical noise, and the tuner doesn't work as well with the power supply as it does just on batteries. The object toward the end of the cable is fairly heavy compared with the tuner, so it tries to pull both units off the table and onto the floor. I thought I was buying a decent tuner, but if this piece of junk comes with the package, then I would recommend getting a different product entirely.

This adapter works great for those with only a few pedals to power. I would suggest you max out at five pedals, especially if they are digital. Also be careful when using a delay pedal, because they seem to absorb more power than others. Overall, the quality is fantastic, and it's design is clever (although one or two companies figured the design out first). But if you have more than four or five pedals, I would suggest investing in a Visual Sound 1-Spot adapter, which has more than twice the power. Being a hobbyist, this one works fine for me.
