This is a good cable. I run it to my PA and it sounds good. I haven't used them in a gig yet but I wouldn't think twice about taking them. It also frees up XLR imputs in your PA.

For what this thing is, it's awesome. I don't own a PA system or a nice shure mic, but this thing is very fun to use to just plug a nady microphone into a practice amp and yell. I can also use this for recording when I run out of mic jacks on my equipment. I have had this cable for about 6 months and it hasn't failed me yet. If you're thinking that you need it for one reason or another, buy this cable without a second thought.
