Considering that my GT4 is such an outstanding instrument, and doubly so for the money, it is unfortunate that this case is such a disappointment. It appears to be a nylon shell around a couple pieces of plywood and foam. It does the job, I guess, but just screams "cheap." Unfortunately, there don't appear to be any other options that will fit the GT4 body style, but for the price, I really think they could have made a nice solid hardshell for it.

I had this case for about 3 months (it was a recommended buy with the bass) before the seams started to rip. This rendered the handles completely useless. I would suggest upgrading to their hard case model. While a little more expensive and a little heavier, it's well worth the investment.

This case protects my Conklin perfectly. I have had no problems with it.

I had to replace mine with in a few months. The zipper seam fell apart and the fabric seams also started to come apart before I threw it away. I use a Coffin bass case that only requires a slight modification for the top horn. Cost about the same and I have been using it for last 3 1/2 years and still good. Even playing out an average of 3 times per month the Coffin is holding up.

The case fits the Conklin GT4 perfectly and has kept my axe in wonderful condition.
