If you play electric slide guitar or deep bass lines or if you are just concerned whether or not your fingers will last during a long gig, you need to try these strings. These babies are smooth as silk !!!

Detuners Try Them!!!

I'm not one to actually stop and write reviews. These are good enough for an exception. I'm into playing metal with a D tuned and a drop C tuned guitars. These strings sound so good you will think you got a new amp. No fret rattle at all and the strings feel like E tuned guitar strings. With the flat wound sliding in and out of notes, sounds studio quality every time. Best yet... pick grinds work and are actually smoother and more consistent! These strings are a god sent for the perfectionist detuned lead metal guitarist. Definitely NOT for the hairspray rock band guitarists!!! These babies have too much rage and soul for you guys.

Finally found thee string for me...

I specifically bought an Epiphone Casino Elite to play rythmn in a 60's tribute band. Our experienced bass player recommended a medium string and I thought I'd try these D'Addario chromes. Wow! Just the perfect string for me. I don't play hard; I just try to replicate those great 60's songs and these strings make it happen. They've been on the guitar for 4 months through 4 gigs and once weekly 2 hour rehearsals. No tuning problems and I absolutely love the smooth feel with no squeaks. I'm sold!

No, you probably can't play Van Halen with thesen strings, but if you have a stronger pick attack and your fingers rip right through .09s and .010s, these strings are for you. Joe Pass played with mediums and look what he did.

The only strings for me.

I use 12's and have been for years. I find these stay in tune and last for months. They're pretty much for rhythm and not for lead, unless you don't care to bend your strings. I have bolt on necks on two vintage Harmony guitars so I'm not too concerned about stress on the neck. Keep that in mind though. These strings are the best for me.
