I have been using these strings for a few years now. i have played ernie balls, ghs, and etc but daddario just got it right. within the first few tunings it slips right into the correct tuning. they sound soo bright and resilient as soon as you get em tuned up. they take a beating when it comes to bends and harmonics. i had one pair for almost a year (couldnt find em around) and they still took a harsh beating (megadeth,metallica,etc) after that long they dont sound so bright though. my suggestion is to atleast try em. they really are the best around.

I've been using these strings for about 3 years. i use them on a Fender Fat Strat. they sound great and feel great. they bend really easily for amazing licks and riffs.

Finally, finally got through to Jackson guitar shop, talked to 2 people that actually work there (yes I double checked just to be certain) and was told by both very nice gentlemen they use NPS D'Addario strings on all USA Jackson models. Ordered the 9-42's since I wanted to keep what came factory spec'd on my RR1 Rhoads. No breakage after playing Cannibal Corpse, Ozzy (Rhoads era) and yes my beloved Beatles tunes for 6 + months. Buy 'em!

I've used many types of strings, but d'addario's are one of my favorites. I like these strings because they have a nice bright sound to them which brings out rich natural harmonics and pinch harmonics. In the past I've had problems restringing and tuning guitars with floating bridges because the strings stretch and it takes me forever to tune, but with these strings I've never had a problem with. One of the strings i've had the biggest problems with are ernie balls because every time I restring a guitar with a floating bridge the strings stretch and go out of tune. Any way, if anyone is looking for good set of strings you cant go wrong with d'addario's

These are some pretty awesome strings they will definitely add some life and brightness to your guitar. They feel great and definitely add some sustain to your guitar and they make pinch and natural harmonics easier. I was playing some blues licks earlier and they really had more snap to em and when you combine that with a warm sounding pickup you get a great blues sound. Sounds great for metal because it adds some extra cut to your sound and when you solo fast licks come out clear and single notes stand out more. Try these strings out I'm glad I did!
