Ive used D Addario's for a long time, but im always curiuos about new stuff, so I tried these. I thought I'd found my choice string with D Add's, as they are MUCH better than the elixirs I'd used previously. I also was happy that D Adds third string does'nt always break on me. These babys we have right here are wonderful! The tone is different from D Adds and I think the coating lets the real sound of the string come through, more so than other coated strings. I really like how the un-wound strings are coated too, cause for me I sweat all over strings at my shows. And the're hand made!! I also want to try Snake Oil acoustic strings as well. These are great strings!!!
