i just got back in to playing drums. i bought these pedals figuring ok cheap way to get back in the swing of things. very hard to play. no ajustability. i figuerd that i could just take them apart and reset things, nope, one pedal the set screw striped out so it wont come apart.

they are abot .05 to 1" away from the head for comfortable playing. i should have spent the extra $ or what ever it was for something better.

simple rock beats are no problem with these but trying to do paradiddles with double bass or more complicated stuff, yes it can be done but it takes so much effert and concentration. i was GC and was blasting wil pearl demon drive but these pedals i can go fast like i was with pearl, but they dont hit the head.

spend the extra money on a pedal that has adjustability.

ive played on iron cobra jr, iron cobra power glide, flying dragon, and axis a long boards. these pedals do not even compare to iron cobra jr. they are built very well, thats the only good thing i can say. if you do gets these, get the sonic hammers from axis, i think that is the only way to make them perfom good.

I've had this pedal for a couple of months now and it works great. It's easy to adjust and has a nice feel. It's a lot better than the last pedal I had which was a "pulse" pedal that came with my kit.

This pedal is priced just right for someone who needs an upgrade from a factory drum set pedal to something with a little more substance. It's price is unbeatable and will sustain the abuse of an active gigging musician. I am currently using it on a electonic drumset that I do not gig with. It's a solid pedal for that; although you aren't going to get great speed with it. I like to encorporate a double stoke into some of my fills and it doesn't always give me the best response. I will definitely go with DW once I upgrade based on this pedals performance and the potential for even more from some of the higher line products.

I have discovered this pedal, and it is as good as the 7000 or 9000. This is quick and easy to install.

I changed my mind .The pedal just needed some adjustments . I have used it for over two years now ,I love it . I am also going to buy the double bass pedal. Great speed and value.Don't waste your money on a prettier one. As good as Iron cobra. I should know , I own one too.
