Had this for about 1 year. Always trusted DW use their pedals, stands, etc. This stand still looks new has never been abused, rarely adjusted and when I went to adjust the basket the pot metal threads stripped out of the adjuster. Rest of the stand is like new and it is now useless. Had to duct tape it for a gig. Never thought I'd need another snare stand after buying this. Had cheap stands last longer. Very disappointed and going back to Tama or Gibraltar.

I got this stand from a local drum shop in toronto, I needed a new one since my old one broke, so I got this one, it is AMAZING!! It is pricy, but so worth it, every feature you can think of,and it can hold up to just about anything. Amazing stand, Ill be gettin another one for my neew dw kit for the mounted tom, very impressed(Y)

I love this stand. It can adjust to any angle or distance with one swift adjustment. I generally prefer Yamaha hardware, but I might just hybrid-ize my kit wth DW. Straight - no chaser!

This is by far the greatest snare stand I own. I have three (the other two are tama rock stands) and this one blows the other two away. The precision in placement of your snare drum alone makes this an amazing snare stand. The only drawback is that it won't hold anything smaller than a 13 inch snare. So if your looking to hold a practice pad, or a 12 inch tom or smaller this won't work.

There is a reason that there is a heafty price tag attached to DW. That reason being it is the best money can by. I have outfitted my self with all DW hardware over the years.
