Just received the case. This is an awesome case. Fits my Stylist B1 Acoustic Dean Bass wonderfully. I sent in the measurements to the Tech. Group and they said it would work and it does. Its a really heavy duty case. It has a lot of locks so I know it will stay shut. Its kinda heavy. And my playmate EABC fits perfect in it. Plus it just looks cool.

Fits my Dean Performer beautifully, not too heavy, comes with lockable laches, very durable, I definitly recomend it

I would suggest to anyone that's considering purchasing a Dean Playmate EAB and this hardshell case to do so at the same time and request that Musicians friend pack the Bass in the case for shipping. The reason? I just received the case for a Dean Playmate EAB I had purchased from here previously, the problem was that the case is MUCH too short for the Bass that it's supposed to fit even though it had the barcode sticker on the case claiming it was the correct case. It would be so much more convenient to discover the problem at the warehouse end instead of when you recieve it. Other than this complaint about the improper case size which I'm confident Musicians Friend will rectify, I'd say it's a well made and attractive case... Now if it would just fit!!
