Great HEAVY strings

I play metal and the DM Blue Steel heavy strings are great! Some people have complained that the 3rd string (G string if standard) is wound. Please keep in mind THESE ARE HEAVY GAUGE STRINGS! If you don't want the G string wound, get a lighter gauge. Overall, these strings are perfect for metal.

THICK @$$ STRINGS

These strings are really hard to bend even in drop c. These will give you fingers of steel if you practice a lot with them. Very chunky, great low end! Perfect set for me.

As Strong As Steel!

I went down to my local music store, needed to replace the crappy stock strings on my new PRS Soapbar 2, previously I used D'Addario's and that's all I would use. Ernie Balls break easy and sound thin, GHS are just HORRIBLE, and I thought DR were good, but not for my style. I bought these pair of strings and turned my amp on, IT was great the strings filled out a nice full round low end the mids were crisp, and the highs were round just as I like, they stay in tune wonderfully , haven't broke, and just provide the tone I need. Try these strings!

G string is WOUND!!!

The G string is wound and very thick. This makes it difficult to bend it even a half step, and practically impossible to bend it more than that. Don't buy these unless you NEVER bend the G string!!

I own an Epiphone Les Paul Plus, and the bridge is really sharp. Somebody that used to build guitars, told me that I ought to sand down the bridge to get rid of the sharper edges. I play between one to two hours a day, sometimes up to four, and I used to break about 5 strings a week, which isn't so great for my small wallet. After sanding the bridge down just a little, I put some of these strings on. They lasted a lot longer! I was playing around on my electric guitar and jamming with my brother, I was amazed at how crazy I could play and not break anything!
