Great for the money

This is a great bag for carrying and storing. Good scratch protection. There is minimal padding, so it's not good for protection against dings and dents. As other reviewers have noted, the bag fits Dean EABs like a glove. I recommend the product--just know that you're getting what you pay for.

Great for the money!

I just received this bag for my acoustic/electric bass. While it won't protect my bass as well as a hard case, it will be more than sufficient for the way I travel. I like that the shoulder straps are removable, as I probably won't need to carry it like a backpack. The one exterior pocket is rather "thin", so I probably can't carry much in there without pressing on the bass.

Not Impressed Dean Playmate EAB Gig Bag

Not impressed with this Gig Bag. Needed a case or at least a gig bag for my Playmate Bass. Purchased this bag in hopes of protecting the bass - only real value is as a dust cover. The padding is less then minimal. I would not put my name on the bag and definitely would not recomend it to others. Big problem is a case is hard to find for this bass with out paying nearly the same price as for the bass.

Pretty Decent Bag

This bag fits the Dean EAB Acoustic Base like a glove - in fact, the first time you try to bag it, you'll think it doesn't fit at all. But when it's finally in and zipped up, you end up with a nicely secured guitar with a good snug fit overall.

In addition to sewn-in carry handles, it features two adjustable "back straps", so you can hump it around with both hands left to carry something else, or nothing if you wish. I gave it an "8" rating on quality only because the metal snap connectors on the back straps don't look all that heavy duty... but that's an observation not based on fact, and the fact is, an acoustic guitar doesn't weigh all that much so maybe it doesn't need magnum clips. They are steel, anyway, so I don't think they're going to break or even bend unless you back dad's pickup over them.

It also has a generous accessory pocket with velcro flap on the back - about 9 x 12 inches, that can easily hold your amp cord, music, maybe even a couple of peanut butter sandwiches.

Overall, a very decent gig bag for the money, and after all, it's the only game in town for a big Dean EAB Acoustic Guitar. Buy it!

A Good Value, Lacking a little in quality

Definitely a good option if you're ordering the EAB (fits like a glove), front pocket is a nice feature, can't beat the price, a little lacking in quality, had some problems with the zippers catching, etc.
