I got this as soon as it was out,as I had tried one of Vinnies signature guitars and loved the sound of those pickups. In a nutshell: a great rock and metal pickup, with a very beefy sound while still maintaining clarity.Also, built well, not microphonic or anything. Will work great not only for shredders,but anyone who plays metal and rock, and 12K isnt too much for more old school-sounds a la 70s Kiss, early Eddie. A GREAT pickup! Installed it into a Dean Vendetta and its a great combination.
