Trust it to hold my RR1

The only strap I trust to hold up a new RR1, those points are easily chipped. Tested it first standing over a bed (just in case) and tried to force it off from different angles, didn't budge, you would literally have to strip the screws out of the wood to break free. Plan on keeping my Rhoads as cherry as humanly possible and still play, this will help. Beyond easy to install instructions even if you have no experience with locks. I got the 3" wide version, really helps distribute the weight. Nice worn in feel, like the seltbelt on your fathers old car, doesn't stick to your t-shirt, glides like it should.

When looking for a locking strap system, most people will turn to Dulop straplocks or Schaller locks. They require an additional strap, which means that the ends can, and eventually will, start to stretch and the locks fall out. Dimarzio ClipLocks avoid that problem, and they are solid as a rock. I play in a Christian hard rock band, and have one of these on my backup guitar, which I use for a guitar swing (unnecessary, but a crowd pleaser). Although most people don't need straps for this purpose, that kind of reliability is there. The only con to this strap is how thin the strap is. It can scratch your neck up if your guitar swings around much in a show. Other than that, this is a solid strap that you can trust.

Wow...iLOOVVE this strap. I'm into things that are simple, easy to use, and that work. This strap has it all. My guitar is a Washburn Idol. And it's kind of heavy. I was skeptical on which strap I should get. So! I found this one, the screws are extra long, the clips are durable, and the strap itself is awesome. I entrust my guitar to this strap. It's a freaking seatbelt! It's awesome. I love it. And they have a crapload of colors.

I have been using this strap on my Ibanez RG-170 for about 8 years now. It was my first guitar and I dropped practicing in a garage band, before I had this strap. Never wanting to drop my first guitar ever again, I purchased a ClipLock system. My only gripe is that back then I don't think they had all the awesome colors they do now...just black and red were the only two I had available. This is worth every cent and as a poster below me stated, it's not worthless junk to add to your guitar. Not at all.

This strap is great, if you want a good strap and strap locks combined without paying the extra bucks for the Schaller or Dunlop locks this is the way to go
