I have been replacing the pickups in a cheap Ibanez RG350DX. I switch out the neck with a norton. By I usually use the bridge. Every single person who had an X2N said it was truely unbeatable. I had to have it. I got this and it has the nicest, most versatile tone in the world. I could make in really warm with out muddiness and make it squeal without dying. It had a wide range of overtones. It is THE metal/rock pickup. GET IT!

Best Bridge Pickup Ever!

I replaced the original EMG active set in Schecter Hellraiser with a passive X2N/Tone Zone set and it just screams now. I hated having the sterile tone with actives and I'm so glad I made the passive switch. This pickup is extremely high gain and the harmonics just fly out of my guitar now. I highly recommend this to anyone playing Death Metal/Black Metal/Grindcore

I got this pup installed in the bridge of my warlock and it has turned my guitar into a beast. The distortion is brutal to say the least, and if you roll back the gain on the amp you can get tones anywhere from rockabilly to judas priest. Not very good at other styles, but thats why you got a neck pickup right? :)

I was looking for a high gain passive pickup, heard this was the one to get, so I tried it out and wasn't dissapointed. It sounds great, has a lot of bite and comes with an awesome price. Even though I eventually made the leap to active EMG's, for players looking for a great high gain passive pickup, this is what your looking for.

Before TD had his Signature Strat, he had a Fat Strat with this in the bridge position. If you are a blink nerd like me, you would know, he only used the bridge position (still does), and yeah, if you want a good blink tone, get this, and pair it up with a Digitech Grunge pedal.
