Each half of the unique, double blade DiMarzio DP127 Split P Replacement Pickup for Fender P Bass is a complete humbucker. The Split P pickup is EQd to expand the range of your bass by extending both low- and high-end response - a great way to get a broader contemporary sound from mid-rangy, one-pickup-in-the-middle basses. The DiMarzio DP127's double-blade design adds snap for crisp attack and emphasizes cool overtones for big, smooth tone. Blade pole pieces also make the Split P very sensitive to finger and pick attack. Notes seem to ring louder, especially in the upper registers, as the pickup hears the decaying note practically down to a whisper.

DiMarzio DP127 Split P Replacement Pickup for Fender P Bass Features:

  • Each half is a complete humbucker
  • Extends both low- and high-end response
  • Double-blade design adds snap for crisp attack
  • Blade pole pieces also make the Split P very sensitive to finger and pick attack

A great way to modernize your P Bass without having to do any cutting.

These Pickups are amazing! Very Bassy but not muddy, loads of growl and heaps of highends. Clean and clear, if you are into CCM music then these are perfect for you. Picks up the low B very clearly and makes the B note take down the house!! Make sure you lower your amp first! Slapping is amazing!Very clean and full; great for all types of style!

I bought a set of these for my Squire P. Special Edition. There is no better mod that you can make. These pickups were simple to install and worked wonders for my sound. One word of caution : turn the volume on your amp down before trying your newly installed pick-ups.

I just added these to my Epi EB-0 bass that I bought here on scratch and dent a while back. How does one add P pickups to an EB-0? Answer: With a hammer and chisel and an electric drill. I couldn't have done this with an expensive Gibson EB-0, but I needed more treble and these really did the trick. I now have a DiMarzio Model 1 at the neck and these about an inch below and they give great tonal variety. BTW, I also added a selector switch. These pickups would be great by themselves but more is better. You will love them.

I have used dimarzio pup's for a long time, studio, stage shows, and they have allways given me the tone and edge that cuts. It makes this old fender precision talk, The dp127's are all you need.

I have owned this PU set for about a year and I love it. I run the DP127 split PU set on a old Jackson J/P bass that I have in conjunction with a Bartolini J PU. I run active / passive Bartolini electronics as well. The DP127 set I use to control the high and midrange tones while the Bartolini J adds warmth and low end growl. The DP127 does lack some of the low end range when you use it solely on a P-style bass, but added with a J or soapbar PU it gives you a phenomenal range you cant get without it.
