Like the original 6-string model, the X2N 7 is ridiculously loud, but the coils have been totally redesigned to capture the entire frequency response of all 7 strings. And for players who experience occasional moments of sanity, the parallel humbucking and split-coil modes are available for cleaner and quieter sounds.

I got tired of that crappy nu-metal tone of my Washburn WG587 so I swapped out the bridge with one of these. Now it sounds less 'nu-metal' and is far more versatile, with the addition of being far hotter. This pickup SCREAMS

This is an all around solid pickup for anyone playing anything with high-gain. It sounds much better and gives a higher output than the EMGs I have in another guitar.
