With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal—normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical pedal. I bought this around the first of the year (2009) and have used it a fair bit since then. it seem to be a very accurate and reliable tuner with a nice bypass feature. my only neagtive about this is the blue on light. the thing is so bright its hard for me to stare at the display to see my tunning. other than that i find it as a great product and recomend it to all.

I bought this pedal with high expectations. The first time I tried to use it at a gig, it wouldn't work. The lower notes wouldn't register and it just kept tetering back and forth. I had to borrow a tuner from someone else, so we could play the gig. I took it back and the guy at the store got it to work, so I tried again and it crapped out on me again. I regret buying this piece-of-junk.

Plain and simple, this tuner is awesome and in IMO whoops Boss's Tuner. Very durable, very accurate and easy to follow. Looks cool too! Only thing that might be cool is if you could get the strobe to, well, strobe, in bypass mode for visual effect much like a rackmount unit, but thats neither here nor there. Much better than Boss, super accurate, built like a tank and just a joy to use. Love it, keeping it, don't think I will ever need another tuner.

This pedal is excellent! I finally got this for Christmas and I've been using it almost constantly since then. The LEDs and note screen are really bright and easy to see. I would recommend this to anyone!

I love the bypass function on this pedal it is amazing when tuning inbetween songs at a gig. Great pedal and very strong!
