When mine stopped working and I saw the replacement cost, no way! Found a transformer for about $10 (if my memory serves me right) that puts out 9V (actually 18V Center Tapped) and is rated for 3 Amps out current. Been happy ever since 'cause I absolutely love my GNX4

After I had my GNX2 for a year, it started randomly changing my settings while I was playing, and then it would shut down. I though I fried it, so I threw it under my bed and that was that. Later when I went off to college I though I'd bring it with for whatever reason, and after fidgeting with the cable, realized that the unit itself was fine. So, I ended up paying the 40 bucks. I'm annoyed that the power supply is nearly a quarter the cost of the unit, and yet it's such a piece of crap. Well, I'm going to put my GNX2 on a pedal board with the rest of my stomp boxes and then I don't think I'll have any more issues because I will never unplug it anymore.

Well, I own the GNX 2 and I bought the power supplier for the 2nd time in a row. Is it too much to ask for ir we can use it with simple AA batteries? The worst of all, is that my GNX keeps shuting down when I play live (thanks to the power supply). Too bad Digitech.

I just hit the 'add to cart' button for my third power adpater in less than 2 years for my GNX3. This is the last time. The pedal has a 2.1 amp draw, and I suspect what is actually required is an adapter rated at 2.4 amps or better. The pack gets sersiously hot, so I knew right away that these things would fry too quickly. And they do.

I've owned my GNX4 for a couple of years, and I use it quite a bit. I pack it up once a week for gigs and or rehearsal. So basically, after I unplugged/plugged it in 104 times, it failed. Pretty bad failure rate. Considering how well made the GNX4 is, it's disappointing that the power supply is so cheesy. The low voltage line shorts out where it connects to the power supply. If Digitech wants word of mouth compliments about it's product, it'll have to shore up this part of its product.
