I use the heaviest gauge of these for playing bass, and these give great attack and great tone. Overall a good pick.

30 years of playing and now this...

After 3 decades playing I recently starting using the 2.0 Delrins - WOW! I do everything from acoustic strumming to U2 to shred so I need a pick that will work on a lot of styles and different guages of strings (from acoustic to bass to electric guitar) and these are great. The beveled edge and slick material make for a fast release but rich tone - not to sharp an attack with nice overtones - harmonics sing off of these too. Great choice!

I've used every thickness of these picks available for several years. The best thing about them is when your fingers get sweaty the picks stick to your fingers. They are very hard to loose. These picks last a long time. The thick ones make it easy for artificial harmonics. Becuase they are hard to loose they are very good for fingerstylers who like to hide their pick. They're great!

.96mm

Based on a suggestion by a professional guitarist, I decided to get the .96mm, and I have to say that it is one of the best picks I've ever used. I have tried several other gauges, and I think that the heavier gauges (1.5 and 2) are too clunky. I play both rhythm and lead, and I think that the .96mm provides just the right balance of stiffness and flexibility for both precise playing and strumming. The size of the pick is excellent, and, as most people have already mentioned, it is extremely durable.

The 1.5 is pretty sick. It has just the right thickness for bass. 1mm's tend to bend too much and 2mm's are just too fat. The only complaint is that the price is pretty high, but hey they last a long time.
