The Dunlop Straplok System is designed with the artist in mind. 360° groove-and-ball design allows the unit to rotate without catching. The strap retainers are easy to install and operate. The case-hardened steel skin guarantees long life. The same strap can be used with several guitars as the strap button is interchangeable. Release-tested up to 800 lbs. of pull; it won't come loose. Complete set (2 units for instrument and strap) adapts to instrument by replacing existing strap pins and screws with special Straplok System brand buttons and screws. 2 strap attachments are included.

me and my rhythm guitarest needed a straplock that was good and fairly cheep so we bought these and it was a great buy we even tested it slinging it over our shoulders like in music videos or puttting alot of tugg on it this straplock system held strong and never failed we still use it to this day and we have been using them on every guitar for about the past year so if you are looking for a good straplock system and are on a budget these will be absolutly perfect for you

these strap locks never loosen up from your instrument or the strap call me crazy but i`m thinking about having them countersunk into my bass about half way they do make your strap ride a little high but the assurence that my bass will never fall off or the need to tighten the locks are worth getting use to this product .

Using these Strap locks all depends on what guitar you are using them on. I used them on both of my electric guitars: a Dean from Hell and an Ibanez Jem. They worked fine on my dean. but on the jem, the distance between the strap and the upper horn strap button puts a lot of tension on the body. i found myself having to tighten the button on the upper horn every 10 minutes or so, which is rather annoying when playing live. Overall, they are OK. but the dimarzio cliplok strap is way better.

Well I have been looking for a set of straplocks for my guitars for sometime. I decided to give these a try. I was pleasantly surprised. They really do hold up well. The only thing that I dislike about them is that they are a little big. They set out from the guitar a little farther than I like. Other than that I would highly recommend getting these.

I have these on all my guitars, and so do all the members of my band. Since we share guitars sometimes this makes it real easy to switch. These are very durable and I have not had any problems with them. They can get sticky but in the instuctions it says to OIL them just like any other metal moving parts. Good value I just got a Gibson Les Paul with Schallers and the Dunlops are superior they dont come loose like the Schallers do.
