I'm not very experienced with slides, just got one to try it out. I barely used the slide at all, and one day I decided tp try my hand at it again, well, as it turned the slide just broke. I had used it like 4 times, and not very vigorously at that.

Can't really give any other ratings on this thing, because it only really does one thing. However, it does it well and I'm very happy with it. I bought the large one, I guess it has thick walls? I've got funny knuckles that are really wide so where it might fit on the finger, it won't fit over the knuckle.

This one produces a great sound, lots and lots of sustain. A little big and unweildy, but it definately makes up for it in sound if you can handle the weight. I personally prefer the warmer glass sound over metal. I've tried out many slides, from brass to chrome but I find I prefer the smoother glass sound over the brighter metal slide tone (no good for that warm statesboro whine).

I made myself a decent one out of my sister's revlon cover-up bottle (thick walls, leaving a bit of the neck still on allows it to grip my knuckles and stay on better) but mine has since been broken and I've been relying on the dunlop ever since.

It's a slide

It's as basic as you can get. Nothing special, no "Great" sounds, but it's not bad. It's very bulky and hard to do anything with, so unless you're doing pure slide clicks, I'd go with the jetslide

Great Slide

When I got this slide and put it on my finger it just felt natural and not at all heavy. Then I started playing "Free Bird" with the slide and I saw what it could do. It delivers a nice, warm, melodic, harmonic sound perfect for the blues or whatever else you can play with a slide. The price can't be beat for a slide this good. If you are looking for a nice but cheap glass slide this is it.
