Best pick i have used

I've used all sorts, cellulose, tortex, standard and jazz III's. These are like a mix of the best of all those. Tip like the jazz III, but actually enough to hold onto like a standard, with a jazz III i pretty much make a pinch harmonic with every note because its too small. The thickness will fool you though, if you like .88 get the .73, because .90's are a lot stiffer than tortex .88's. Bit expensive for a pick but worth it. Wears a lot slower than tortex too. Definitely my new favorite pick.

These picks are awesome! The smooth edges give it a nice attack and the sharp point makes alternate picking a breeze. This pick has improved my playing more than any other peice of gear i've ever used! The ultex material is grippy and doesnt sift around as much as my last picks did.

These are a great value and definitely deliver!

Picks affect your tone?

So I play Jazz 3 Tortex 1.14 Sharps and now these .73 and picks affect your tone believe it or not, and these picks have great tone, a wicked quick release and epic pinch harmonics. But they come in packs of six which idk about you but I lose pick so I need a little more then 6 but if you play jazz 3s and there too small get these they are better trust me!

Durable doesn't say it all..

I use the .73mm version and am rather happy with it. It's not too flexible like other .73's are. My only problem is that they have absolutely NO grip. If you go play a gig that you don't sweat in, then fine, but most of the time it's hot and you sweat a lot, then the pick slips, you're either playing with the side of it or it's no longer in your hand and your strumming with fingers.. If they come out with a version with some real grip I'll buy more, until then I'm going elsewhere.

I've been using the standard Ultex picks for a couple of years now and didn't think I could find something to replace them...until now. The contoured and sharper tip helps me pick faster and cleaner for lead and rhythm playing. I'm using the 1.0. I'm probalby going to keep using the lighter gauge .73 Ultex standard for acoustic playing though.
