Works pretty well on dead and dirty strings. Definitely brings a bit of life back into your strings. Don't use it until your strings are really dead though. I find it kills that "new string" tone if you use it on fresh strings.

As a lubricant, it's ok. It's more subtle than something like Fast Fret, but it does a decent job. Doesn't last long though.

All in all, a good product. Well worth the 3 or so bucks.

I am very pleased with this product. It works very well on cleaning the strings and restoring the original tone of the strings. However, it does make the strings grab a little which gives it that finger squeek between chord movements.

I tell you, this conditioner is a very confidential object. It really restores brilliance to my stirngs' tones and extends their lives very well. Without this conditioner, I would have to buy new strings almost every month or so, unless I had a 10-pack or even a bulk pack of strings to spare. Other than that, how very conveniant this conditioner is for making my stings sound better than before!

Sure, it removes all traces of dirt and icky stuff off your strings. It also removes all of the TONE. I specifically waited 3 weeks after putting on a fresh set to put this stuff to the test and my strings sounded worse after using it. I hated how greasy it made the strings feel too, even when using the most minute amount. Smells terrible too. This aint' it.

This product does what it was designed to do, and it works well. It prevents your strings from corroding and help take the acid out of them and make them look and sound like new again. It is just Teflon oil you can go to any gun store and get some for the same price that would last you way longer, It is best when using this dunlop stuff, you put it on the strings then put some on a paper towl and do underneath the strings too, then wipe them off with another paper towl, but if I were you, I'd get this stuff called Rem oil at wal mart and most gun stores, afterall Teflon is Teflon
