Best strings I've ever used!!!

I've been a guitarist now for over forty years playing music of every flavor in just about any style you can name. In all that time I've used just about every brand, gauge and style of string there is.

I've just discovered the Elixir Polyweb strings thanks to the recommendation of another player I know who uses them. I put a set on my Martin D-35 and was totally awestruck at the sound. Bright, ringing tones with great bass, solid midrange and crisp, clean highs unplugged or amped.

Ok, you have a valid point. How can a Martin not sound great??? Soooo, the real test came when I put the Elixirs on an old Ovation Celebrity. They made that round-bottomed cheapie sound like a million bucks!

The bottom line is that after six weeks of daily playing these Elixirs are still just as big, bright and full-voiced as they were the day I put them on. I'm sold!
