I own a Schecter Studio 5 and I use these on my bass. It is the best strings I have found yet. They're great for Warm Finger Playing or High End Slapping. Whatever your style, these are good for you.

you manage to shred the nanowebbing. I bought a schecter five-string bass over a year ago, and it came with these strings on it. They're amazing and until about a week ago still looked and felt brand new. When I play, I usually use a pick, and that's how I tore up then nanowebing on the B and E strings. Still, they play like new, they're just a little fuzzy lookin! hahaha! I'm going to replace them though, so that I don't have to worry about having rusty, grimey strings. I highly recommend elixer strings, and myself will probably never use any other brand.

I bought these strings 2 years ago because I was told these are the best for tone and brightness, not to mention the amazing life these have. I have not changed them yet, it has been 2 years and they still play very very good. It took over a year for them to even lose any tone whatsoever, and even today they sound better than most strings brand new! they still have sustain and everything. this is the best investment a bass player can make. most strings get old and feel rubbery after only a month or two, these strings retain their new feel for two years. these are definately the best strings ever. so what if they cost a little more than the rest, look how long they last, you actually save a whole lot of money on these strings. no matter what bass I play on, I make sure they have elixir strings on them. once you play these strings, you realize how bad the rest of the strings are.

I put these strings on my bass about 3 months ago, and from day one they still have the same amazing tone. They have great highs, mids, and lows. I cannot see myself playing with anyother brand of strings. Elixirs are a must for all serious bass players.

I have been writing/playing/performing for 25 years, I was put on to these strings just over 3 years ago and will not string my basses with anything else. Superb product, shame they weren't around 25 years ago. Incredible sustain with amazing tone, has certainly enriched my playing experience. I recommend this product to any and all bass players.
