Best Strings On The Market

These strings, like anything on the high end, are in fact a case of getting what you pay for. Best sound, best feel, and best case of longevity in any set of strings. If you expect ANY strings to last longer than 3-4 months you don't understand the nature of string dynamics. No string lasts forever but these are your best bet if looking for a set that will sound sweet for the longest period of time.

I've come to find that they do actually last a long time... except the E-strings! I first put them on my Ric.. and it seemed that right at first the E was dead. I bought another pack for my 62' P-bass and within a week or two the E was dead again. Am I stupid or what for trying it again for my Jazz? Within a week or two the E string lost it's tone. I know it can't be the bass if it's happened 3 different times with 3 different basses. I wanted to try them because I was tired of replacing my rotosounds every month. I figured these would be a good investment. They sound alright.. nothing superb and surprisingly I like the feel with the nanoweb. After my frustration with Rounds I decided what the heck.. I'll try some flats. I bought myself a pack of TI jazz flats and couldn't be happier with them. They've been on there for over 6 months and sound just as incredible as day one.. I don't think I'll ever have to replace them. However it's a bummer when I'm looking for that roundwound twang, but I can't keep putting out 40 bucks a month for strings. All in all... I would not recommend these strings.

Nanowhat??

I absolutely loved these strings for about a month...that's it. After a year of enduring these strings, the "incredible" nanoweb is pealing at all ends. I at first mistook the nanoweb for skin or something of the sort, until when trying to remove it, uncoiled an inch of the stuff off of my E string.
Bottom line: Don't buy into the bull. The nanoweb will cost you far more than its worth - including a new set of replacement strings.

I'm sorry, but even for the price, these strings are not worth buying. I tend to practice alot, so I need lasting strings that are durable and reliable; these definetly do not fit that criteria. Within the second week, the "amazing nanoweb technology" on the strings started to rip off near the bottom of the neck and pickups. Honestly, it looked like my strings needed to shave or something. By the end of the month there was no nanoweb. I took it to a gig and realized that it made my bass sound way too twangy so I took out my old bass strings, switched them, and found that even my old ones sounded better than these. I am telling you right now, that this is a complete waste of money.
