I have a set of these with an Elixir .130 taper wound B string on my Fender Jazz Bass and they are the best strings money can buy. It is really worth the extra money because they last so much longer. I have had the same set on for over 9 months and they still sound great.

These are some sweet strings. They last forever in tone and feel, and I mean FOREVER! I had them on for like 7 months and just recently changed them because I was curious about other strings. They sound almost exactly the same as the Ernie Ball Hybrid slinkys I put on. I might put the Elixirs back on after the EB's wear out, just to see exactly how long they last.

In my 33 years of playing bass, these are some of the best strings I've used. Worth the extra money, they last longer. While I was touring the west coast and Tijuana I only went through one pair.
