I have used a ton of different strings with my Tele and the way i play goin from Dropped C to Dropped B to regular to Dropped A# no others strings could take it. These hve lasted over three months without the strings breakin or losing tone. These always give great tone no matter what tuning i play in. The coating on the strings acts great as a lubricant. I am ordering these with my new electric right now so when i get the new guitar it can have the best strings. THESE STRIGS ROCK

hands down elixir makes the best strings money could buy.im a serious gigging and recording guitarist and these strings last the longest stay in tune the best and the coating acts as a lubricant so you can play faster.i've been buying elixir strings for years i've tryed all the major brands and nothing comes close.great tone, longevity,stable tuning,great feel how could ask for more.

I started using Elixir strings on my acoutic about 5 years ago. I play 3-6 hours per day and they last for about 3 months or until I break one then replace the set. They sound crisp and brigth, great tone, and my acidic fingers don't rust them out in less than 5 days like other non coated strings.

I've seriously bought these strings back when they cost $14 and slapped them on my Epi LP. They have lasted over... actually it's been over a year. And I play alot. They still stay in tune and the only reason I'm getting a new set today is because I actually wore off the coating.And they are slightly rusting but these things could actually live another few months under tension

I can't tell you how many brands I've been through trying to find the right stings for me. It seems like every brand I've tried have either gotten dull-sounding within a week or two, or were really overpriced. These strings are long-lasting, and sound great. Not a bad price, either, compaired to some others out there... Overall I strongly recommend these. They're the only elec. guitar strings I'll be buying for now on!
