Enjoy the playing ease of an electric guitar with great note-bending ability. Elixir Acoustic Guitar Strings are the first major innovation in strings in over forty years. And they deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what guitar you put them on or how often you play.

Elixir Strings are covered with an ultrathin, space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone!

Most players report that Elixir Strings keep sounding great 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary strings.

Try a set on your acoustic. We guarantee you'll be pleased.

Brightest Strings I've Played!!!

These strings are great. They are brighter then any other acoustic strings i have ever played with, coated and non-coated. The brightness doesnt fade out as soon as the strings get broken in either. Long lasting and bright for weeks of play. The one drawback is that they arent the cheapest of strings and the poly coating on them flakes off after a few weeks but that can be fixed by wiping off the strings with a rougher cloth every once in a while. Great strings for someone searching for that bright strumming tone.

These are VERY good strings. They keep their crisp tone from the moment they come out of the box to the 3rd month they're on the guitar. I tried these out on my electric, to my surprise, I didn't like it. They just don't cut it as electric strings. Although these are the BEST acoustic strings I've ever tried.

I have an old Takamine EF-341s Its an 89..I love this guitar for its playability. Tone has always been so so ...sounds great plugged in but sometimes lacked tone acoustic. I am cheap sometimes when it comes to strings...whatever is on sale is my string of the month...I always go D"addario on my electrics but wow I am really enjoying the acoustis tone on my tak with these strings...I found bass that wasn't there and the highs just sing...very nice...I'll spend the extra money again

I just installed these on my Washburn D30S today and I couldn't believe the quality of these strings. I used to only use Martin SP's, because I thought they were amazing too. Well, I went out on a limb here and thought I'd shell out to try out the strings everyone is raving about. I was so impressed with the quality, the sound, and the coat of polyweb, that I think I'm just gonna use these strings for now on. Yes, they are pretty pricey but I think this is the best you can get for strings. Great buy.

These strings play very nice but the E&A strings fussed up after a couple of weeks. They play and tune ok but look really funky!
