Gauges 12-16-24-32-42-53.

Elixir Polyweb Acoustic Guitar Strings are the first major innovation in strings in over forty years, and deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.

Elixir Strings are covered with an ultrathin, space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone!

Most players report that Elixir Strings keep sounding great 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary strings.

At this price, you can afford a handful. Put some in the cart. It's not like you won't use 'em.

These strings are the best. The sound and longevity are second to none. I have heard guys tell me that the g string breaks, but I've gone through dozens of these strings and I've only broken one. The one that I broke was about two months old so...... It was time for a change anyway. Seriously though, you've gotta try these!

I bought these strings a few days ago and i played 3 songs in standard tuning and the high e string broke. I just replaced it with a martin. Then My guitar sat for maybe 2 days and I picked it up and played 3 songs and the G string broke. These were by far the worst strings I've ever had.

These strings are great, I went to a convention inf Frankfuhrt Germany and I like them better than phospher bronze, they just play smoother and live longer and sound birght and loud! I also spoke with Bob Taylor and he says he likes them as well. So there ya have it.

If Elixer polyweb or nanoweb strings really have an extremely long life, then Elixer might just as well be my brand of guitar strings!!

They can make any acoustic sound better...

I bought a pack of these on a recommendation from one of my gigging relatives. These strings have made my rather mediocre student guitar much more playable. I put these on around November, and they have not gone dead until now, the beginning of February- even with my over-sweaty hands that would always render regular uncoated strings flat. The tone was surprisngly very bright for those few months. But when Elixir strings go bad, they go bad. Be prepared to buy new ones once they're dead. But regardless, I highly recommend you try Polyweb or Nanoweb strings out, you will not regret it. There are no other better strings!
