In all my years of playing guitar, I've never been more pleased with a new speaker. Yes, this monster is heavy... but it's worth the load. The tone is deep, firm, and wide. The lows go below 50k, the highs past 5,oook. The highs are clear and pure. This is the IDEAL speaker for a modeling amp like a Line-6 or Vox Valvetronix. This speaker does everything. With its outrageous power rating, I'm not even afraid to plug my bass into it. It's worth the price. I love this speaker.

If your looking for a JBLD120 and don't want to spend a fortune, here you go. I love skynyrd and southern rock alike, and wanted the sound of it. I went out and bought a peavey mace and a matching 2x12 cab. I replaced the speakers with these, oh my god! I also play a peavey classic 100 head through them. Oh my god these are great for southern rock/rock. Buy them now before something bad happens and you can't get them again. Thanks.

I've always been disappointed with guitar speakers, small voice coils, small magnets, and low power handling...UNTIL NOW!!

These things are absolutely ridiculous. 4" Voice Coils, HUGE magnet, 225w RMS Power Handling. Almost a subwoofer but with sweet midrange and so-so highs.

I loaded two of these in my 4x12 Mesa Cab with 2 stock speakers. INSANE bottom end! I wouldn't want only these speakers, just because the tone isn't all there from what I can hear, but the bottom is. The way I run my setup anyway is I have these on the bottom of my cab, and on one channel of my power amp, and the other two on the top and another channel.
