Nice little air pusher

Let me preface this by stating I have 4 custom made 18" subs, featuring this little bad boy. I push them with lots of good amplifiers, QSC mainly. And I pair them with my custom made 6 foot 3" line arrays. All of my speakers are custom made. That being said, you wont find a speaker available to the local "sound guy" that's better suited for a DJ application. It takes ALOT of abbuse from those horrible MAX BASS algorhythms and crappy "engineers" that reside in hip/hop and pop music. They will give it when you need it.

That being said, make sure you have the proper amplification. Its not worth you getting them to push them with cheap amplifiers. You won't see the benefit without clean, good power.

Given the price, this sub is awesome. The metal heat sink looks cool and seems to do what it should. Be sure to make sure your cab fits the spec (cabinet specs available on eminence's site) or else you'll be going back to modify your existing cabs. Eminence advertises this speaker to work in a sealed cabinet, but it is definitely a better performer in ported designs (read: very loud, super low harmonic).
