I used Eminence speakers a long time ago and wasn't impressed. I use a Reverend Amp now with the extension speaker and the main speaker finally went bad. I was told to try the Red, White, and Blue speaker. "What a great speaker. i don't even use the extention speaker now.The Eminence is Fat and Clean. Just the right amount of distortion without fade. I'm impressed.

Punchy warm tone w/ controlled mids

Just like the title says - this speaker is very punchy and immediate. But it is not at all harsh - very smooth & warm mids with nice treble sparkle that is also warm. If you're looking for versatility, this is it. If you're looking for a huge mid bite, look elsewhere. For clean, it is second to none. For distortion, very controlled without any nasty spikes - VERY handy indeed and covers alot of ground from jazz to rock.

I let a friend borrow my Epiphone Triggerman and he destroyed the stock speaker, but it was okay because it gave me a good reason to upgrade. While the amp is still solid state, I noticed an AMAZING improvement. It is a very crisp speaker and each sound is very clear. To my ears there seems to be a little bit of very smooth speaker distortion at high volumes which is nice. I am thinking about putting two of these in my Classic 50.

If your amp is lacking something and your not sure what to do , buy this speaker. I installed it im my Crate V50. What a difference. I am very happy with the results. I am not sure how to explain it better than to just say it adds a quality to the sound that makes your amp sound as if you paid hundreds of dollars more for it than you actually did. I will purchase more Eminance speaker in the future with no hesitation. Delivery was excellent and on time. thanks.

Sweet mids!

I bought two of these in conjunction with two Man O Wars (see my review on these), and criss-crossed the two types to get a nice evened out sound, which they do very well. The Man O Wars add a lot of warm low end to the mix, while the RWAB's smooth out the mid-range frequencies and add quite a bit of attack. I think they are quite amazing together. My tone has never sounded more full.
