I am the original owner of a 1973 Gibson LP Triumph bass which is slightly shorter than a standard LP bass. The original case, which I bought with the bass, has been used hard and is falling apart. I HAVE SEARCHED FOR YEARS for a case that would fit my bass right. This case seems to be made for my LP Triumph - it fits perfectly and is extremely well made. The body is cradled tightly so there's no movement. There're a couple of inches up past the headstock, so a standard LP would probably fit fine, too. GREAT PRICE!

Ive had this case for 9 months and it is amazing! I have an epiphone les paul bass and it is my main bass. its an awesome case for some one like me and ive dropped my case with my epi in it and it has no scratches on it. for the price you have to git it!
