Great Full Sound

These strings may not be for everyone, but they add a new dimension to the sound on my western body acoustic - it sounds like a full dreadnought with these strings, and it isn't that much different from steel strings. I was worried I'd lose some volume from these strings, but they're definitely loud, and the bass strings ring out better from what I can hear.

I have several vintage guitars and wanted a low tension string to keep them in good shape. I have used Martin m-130's in the past and like them, but believe these are a better string for the money. They have a full rich tone and seem to keep it longer than some others I have tried. I have them on a K20 made in the late 40's or early 50's and they sound great!

I just stringed my big baby taylor with these and this strings are soft and feels silky it makes your fingers glide in the fretboard. The sound is not boomy nor tinny, it's kinda in the midrange, but it still brings out adequate and beautiful tones. This are good strings, I highly recommend it.

I just strung my guitar with Ernie Ball Silk & Steel Soft 2045's (11-52 gauge). These are great! I previously had my guitar strung with DR 12's. These are so much easier on the hands, the tone is marvelous. These are the strings I'll be using on all my acoustics from now on. Thanks for a great product!
