When I originally got my Fender Deluxe Players Strat, I loved it I took it out of the box, tuned it up, and plugged in and played however I noticed the strings would go out of tune every ten or fifteen minutes. Then, I noticed the strings were Fender Super Bullet 9s. After realizing this, I grabbed a pack of my Slinkys and strung them up and my guitar stays in tune GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I originally only tried these strings because they became the cheapest brand name on musician's friend, but I'm stuck on them now. I change my strings about once a month, and I have yet to break a string, unlike when I used D'Addarios or Dean Markleys. They sound great on everything from my ES-335 knockoff to my Ibanez seven-string (I buy single 56's in bulk and it saves me some money.) Harmonics are bright and musical and they hold tuning well. Best strings I've tried, not to mention the cheapest.

Hey, if these are good enough for Clapton, they're good enough for me. I've been using these strings on my electric guitars for as long as I can remember. I've tried all the exotic brands and I always come back to Ernie Ball.

I've used these strings exclusively for over 10 years. Never broke one, not one. And they last long enough for me, and I hate changing strings. Great tone, great playability, great value. Got them on my strat, my tele, and my Ibanez SZ520FM. Just get 'em, you'll see.
