I have been playing these for years and every time I try something different (that someone else recommends) I always come back to these. I don't know who does quality control on these, but he/she deserves a raise! If you play for at least 2 hours a day, expect to change your strings every 2 to 4 weeks. But at $4 bucks a set, who the hell cares? Also, I cannot remember the last time I broke a string.

I have tried about every sting on the market and have decided these will be the only ones I will use. Great for bending and easy on the fingers. Just my opinion but for the price, reliability, and tone I have found nothing better. I own 45-50 electric guitars at the moment and they all have these installed. I never have had the problems mention by others, just pull on each one when you put them on and keep tuning until they are stable. Once broken in for a few hours they hold their tune no problem and last a long time.

these are great sounding strings and they dont break very easily, but i have a hard time with them going out of tune. no other string i have used does this. the g string is the worst by far. i use these on my practice guitar, i would never use them for a gig

They are probably the most used strings on the market. They are tough, sound good and stay flexible for a decent length of time. The price is good too. If people say that they dont last or that they break then they should check the bridge saddles on their instruments or tension points. In reality these strings are tough!

These strings overall, are way overrated. One set of strings lasts approximately a week(I broke the little E on one set within an hour of use).

The nonwound strings turn black, and the strings start to sound muddy. I would steer clear of these strings any day for even a basic set of strings.

So far my fender strings are still in good condition and I've had them for 4 weeks--I would suggest those over these easily.
