ernie ball super slinkys definetly play great. they have great tone and hold that tone for a long time. eb supers also don't corrod terrible either.

I use EB Slinks on all of my guitars, Gibson Les Paul, Gibson ES-339, are my main ones and an Epiphone bought in '87, that is my "tear apart and rebuild" guitar. Never a problem. Used 'em when I started, 24 years ago, have used DR - Good strings. D'Addario - Good Strings. EB Slinks - best strings. If you go black , you need to change 'em more frequently. strings don't last forever, they are consumable goods, if you play everyday, I advise AT LEAST, every two weeks. just some friendly advice!
