Awesome strings that last

I needed new strings when I got my 6 string bass because the ones on there were just nasty. I knew I wanted round wound strings that had quite a beefy B string and these did the trick. I am faithful to Ernie Ball when it comes to guitars and I already had the 4 string set of Power Slinky's on my other bass and they did wonders for me. I tune down to GCGCFA# which is drop C with a low G to match the C. These strings give plenty of punch. I use them for everything from crazy shredding and riffage to regular, smooth finger style and slap. The only thing I wish was different was instead of having a 105, having a 110 just like the 4 string set because it's a bit unbalanced going from only 105 to a huge 135 plus a 110 is perfect for drop C. I was told that these strings wear out but that was from a pick players point of view who only uses the bottom two strings anyway. I've played several gigs and practiced non stop and they are still like new. I put lots of sweat and time on these strings and they are still great. I've had them on my bass since August and they aren't beginning to be worn out. Ernie Ball's are great bass and guitar strings. Definitely get these strings. Even though I play in drop G essentially, these work very well for standard tuning as well.

These strings are brighter and have a much better feel to them and they seem to hold a note longer than most others I've tried.

I will use nothing else now for recording.

These dominate every other string out there, can't say a single bad thing about them. Perfect for tuning down a full step (or lower, I sent the 135 down to G and it still sings). Powerful, clear tones and extremely long life. Worth every penny; Ernie Ball comes out on top again.

Turn your tone into an inescapable force!

Best Strings Out There

I just got these strings and i love them. I did get thicker strings then these, but I automatically fell in love with them. Timmy-C (RATM) is a huge influence on me and I am finally getting his tone. They pack such a punch and i have not even broke them in! They are the best out there. They destroy my old Carvin strings.
