I got these for my Viper, and for my friends Jag for his birthday. And we both have versatile tastes, so they stay in tune thru beatings of Drop C, and hard slaps and pops in standard. They have a very bright tone, but not too bright with the whole string talk deal, very outstanding, but very mellow at the same time. They don't chew up your frets at all, but they will feel sticky at first, but that's nothing some lemon oil can't fix. Really great deal for a 2 pack. If you have extended ranges in taste, you should get these strings, because they sound great for it all.
