after my singer dropped and permanetly damaged my bass i had to go out and buy these. these strap locks are just perfect. though i will never let him touch my bass again...with these locks even the clumbsiest person can play!

I bought a pair of the nickel Ernie Ball strap-locks and was very pleased. I installed them on my SG standard, but used the current strap button screws. These things come with fairly long screws, so if you're installing on a guitar with the strap button on the back of the body, be careful if it's a thinner bodied guitar. Other than that, it was fairly simple. It was difficult getting the strap clasp through the holes of my strap, but it was a brand new strap with fairly thick ends, so I won't say that's a fault of the product. These are very low profile locks compared to some I've seen and won't stick out 2 inches from the body of the guitar.

I bought these at my local music store after doing some research on strap locks, and decided to go with these. Very simple installation and easy to follow instructions. My bass is definitely not gonna fall off with these on. I highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good lock.

I had bought 2 sets of these straplocks in nickel because two of my guitars were buttonless. I installed them on my Ibanez S520EX and my Schecter C-1+. I'm not one for buying junk, so I did my research. I heard of problems with Dunlops coming right off and schallers look funny to me. These locks are great in that they look really nice, feel solid, and they are safe. I also like that you are not limited to using your lock and are able to slip on any strap of your choosing. Also helpful if you forget your strap at home and your buddy has one.

I also followed the video on youtube for installation.

If you are like me and want to protect your investment with a quality product, then buy these EB's, you shouldnt be disappointed.

I purchased a set of these for my new ESP LTD EC-1000. The installation was simple and required no drilling or modification. I used a small wrench to ensure a tight fit to my leather strap. The locks work perfectly, and once engaged I have total confidence that the guitar will stay on my neck no matter how much I move around. I highly recommend this product from Ernie Ball.
