Bought an old drum set from a fried and swapped out the heads, they were all remo and switched to Evans. Went around a lot of websites to see what kind of snare head to buy and most said Remo but one of my favorite drummers Roy Mayorga uses the 300 Hazy and i was simply amazed by the sound they put out. The head is very easy to tune and makes my snare sound like a machine gun going off. Get these heads, they are worth the money and value and will make your snare sound amazing!

i couldnt believe it when i put this on. it made my snares extra responsive, and allows my snare to cut through the sound. i even have this on a brandless tin snare drum with a genera hd batter and it sounds amazing. this is definitly worth it

The head is practically a miracle because it has been my favorite head yet. Though if the head is tuned low it doesn't sound good at all. But overall the head , if tuned properly it can give you those needy highs you want with a great sound and feel to it, it just makes my day feel alot better knowing what i got on a snare like the 300 hazy snare head, i would highly recommend this to head to any body really:)

This drumhead is the ultimate best snare side head the world will ever know of. It cannot be beaten. It's easy to tune, and sings beautifully when you get it tuned perfectly. This head makes my low quality snare sound like a pro quality snare. The Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side and the Evans g2 Coated are an unbeatable combination. Check out drum tuning videos on the evans site to get simple tips on how to get your drums sounding their best. Like I always say, dont get any other brand but Evans. Always stick with Evans heads. All of Evans' drumheads totally own all other brands. Thanks Evans! :)

about 3 weeks ago, i bought this head along with an hd dry batter and put them on my 14" snare. i as playing with a stock snare side and a g2 coated batter head.. the difference is unbelievable!!! i crank my snare heads to get that crack/pop instead of that loose concert snare sound.. when i mic them up to play shows i almost need ear plugs because the crack sounds like a rim shot...get this head
