I absolutely cannot say enough about these strings. I've played just about every brand of strings known to man and have NEVER been more satisfied with a brand then Everly. Its NOT HYPE! their strings actually make YOUR SOUND BETTER! the higher ratio of iron to nickel is like NOS for your pickups. The sensitivity, attack, and reactivity of the magnets to the higher level of iron is absolutely magnificent. I played a set of normal strings (DR's I believe) and then put a set of these on, and the difference was so significant. You can Literally hear the difference! I highly suggest that you shell out and try these strings. Theyre, of course, not for everybody, but those of you who do like them will LOVE them! pickin & grinnin for 40 yrs.these strings provide by far the best bang for buck.they last a long time & hold their crispness better than all competitors .

It had been a long, long time since I actually got my tried and trusted Explorer out of the closet, kids, exwife etc. So when I did, the strings had to be replaced. I bought a 5 pack of the Everly strings which included a single set of the B52 strings. WOW! I had always been a GHS fan, but those suck when compared to the Everly b52. I have never ever been a big fan of brands, but when it comes to strings, YES it really does make a difference. When my 52 yr old ears can hear the difference then I am willing to bet that someone younger will be able to as well, not to mention those who perform will appreciate the quality. After all, the Everly bros were a great musical act in thier day. The expertice had made a great set of strings available at a great price.....enough talking.....BUY THEM... you will be happy you listened to an old codger like myself.
